Product work for clients abroad, on a daytime schedule

Real products, not a ticket queue

You work on software that a client's business runs on — web platforms, internal systems, e-commerce, custom applications — and you stay on it long enough to know why it is built the way it is. The same product over months, with context, instead of an anonymous queue you never see the end of.

A daytime schedule

San Pedro Sula runs on US Central Time (UTC−6), the same clock as most of our clients. Overlapping their business day means the work happens during the day here too — not on the overnight shift rotations that much of this city's outsourcing sector runs on.

You will talk to clients, write to them, and review work in English. It is not a line on a job description here: it is the working language with the people you build for, which also means your English gets better by using it rather than by studying it on the side.

A formal contract, with every benefit the law requires

In the Honduran tech market a lot of hiring is informal, or invoiced as professional fees with no benefits attached at all. We hire on formal employment contracts. That is legal compliance, not generosity — but it is worth stating plainly, because it is the difference between being affiliated to social security and not being affiliated at all.

If a benefit is not on this page, do not assume it exists. We would rather publish a shorter page than let you accept an offer based on something we implied. Ask us directly and you will get a straight answer in writing.

Questions candidates ask

Before you write to us

We do not publish a live vacancy list on this page, so we will not tell you a role is open when we cannot guarantee it. What we can tell you is which profiles our work is made of: React, Next.js and Astro on the front end, Node.js and Python on the back end, QA, UX/UI design, and project management. Send your CV for one of those and you will get a straight answer about whether something is open now or whether we should keep it on file.
We have not published the steps on this page, and we would rather not describe a process that might not match what you actually go through. Ask for the steps in the same message you attach your CV to, and you will get them in writing before you invest time in a test or an interview. Any employer should be able to tell you the stages up front, and you are entitled to ask.
We have not published a work-arrangement policy, and we are not going to imply one on a page you might make a decision from. Ask directly before you go any further. This is exactly the kind of term that should be stated to you in writing by any employer, never inferred from a careers page — including this one.
English is the working language with our clients in the United States: calls, written updates, and reviews. There is no certificate we ask you to hold. The practical bar is being able to hold a working conversation and write a message a client can act on. If your English is still improving, say so honestly in your application, because it will show up on the first client call either way.

For QA and project management roles, tell us what you shipped and how you ran it rather than sending code. That is enough for a first conversation.
A formal employment contract in Honduras carries affiliation to the IHSS (social security), the RAP contribution, thirteenth and fourteenth month pay, paid vacation, and the seventh day plus statutory holidays. Those are legal entitlements rather than perks — we state them because informal hiring without any of them is common in this market. Anything beyond that is not listed on this page, and you should ask about it directly instead of assuming.
